Very disappointing!
Bought this for a camping trip last week, the kettle only whistled the first time we used it and never whistled again! All down the front melted, I shall be returning it to the store asap!

1, it's impossible to fill without a small bottle or jug. 2 you can't touch the handle as it gets sooo hot .3 the plastic handle eventually melted after 4 uses .Avoid at all cost . Hazardous

Used for the first time. Did not whistle. Handle too hot to touch once it started boiling. Boiling water spraying from spout. Not safe at all. Will be returning to store.
Absolute crap
Just about to return the second one of these that started leaking around the spout after limited use. I was particularly upset as we had granddaughters with us and kettle was dripping boiling water.

Great little kettle. I wore a glove to pour the water, after reading reviews about burns from the steam. It didnt whistle, maybe i didnt leave it on long enough, but i could see when the water was boiling. Good value for £4, did the job.

This is a neat little kettle, boils the water, whistles at the end no complaints, it gets one-star, when pouring the hot steam rises and scalds whichever finger you use to press the whistling lid RISK

The non-folding handle means it won’t fit in most of our campervan cupboards. The whistle means it’s very difficult to fill and you can’t see how full it is. And it doesn’t whistle anyway.
