Waterproof, lightweight, supportive and super-comfortable boots fit for hiking on trails or streets in any conditions.

The Scarpa Cyrus Mid GTX is a higher-cut version of their popular Cyrus GTX walking shoe.

They're lightweight, comfortable and supportive thanks to the 'Direct Injection Construction', and their 2mm water-resistant Nubuck upper with GORE-TEX lining keeps you dry and protected even in the wettest climates.

A higher ankle offers more support and weather protection, while the PU midsole has a low weight and gives you outstanding underfoot comfort.

The Scarpa 'Energy L' outsole gives plenty of traction for a wide range of underfoot conditions.

Men's Scarpa Footwear Size Guide

Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.

As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.

We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.

Scarpa Boots

Most comfortable boots I have bought. However, after 8 months the stitching both sides of upper toe came undone.

Comfy but not for heavy duty use

Comfy but not for heavy duty use. Soles are shot after seven months. The stitching is also wearing badly. They need vibram soles and less stitching! I expect at least 2yrs out of a pair of boots.

Scarpa Cyrus walking boots. Poor value. Warning to future cu

After 12 months the stitching both sides of upper toe came undone. Worst scarpa I’ve ever bought.

Comfortable but not durable

Most comfortable walking boots unfortunately after 12 months the stitching on the toe seam started to come undone. After sales was excellent (Mountain Boot Company) they replaced with a new pair.

No longevity

Sadly had to replace a pair of Meindl boots that had managed 12 years good use, travelling the alps etc.

These Scarpa's only managed 2.5 years (now outside of gurantee) and stitching is coming undone

Not a Good Boot

It’s not that comfortable after a few hours. It doesn’t hug your foot, feels like too much heel movement. Sole has little cushioning and the boot is very slippery in wet conditions.

Definitely not waterproof!

Nice looking and very comfy but priced not to be waterproof on format wet walk, waste of money!

Flip flops sole

Nice looking boot, warm and comfortable out of the box. However, the soles are not fit for walking/ hiking. They were spent after 6 months and my longest walk was taking the dog out. Avoid.

Stitching!

Comfy, waterproof - BUT not very robust, after 5 months the stitching had started to come away on the inside of the right boot & deteriorated VERY quick. maybe ok for walking dog etc but not hiking!

Stitched up

Bought these boots August 2020 and used them on hols in Austria. The stitching in the toe box area is coming apart in a very bad way. The sloe is worn badly as well. Do not buy these they are rubbish.

Excellent for general walking

After 2 years - they still look good, they are comfy and waterproof. I take care of them well and wear them for everything except serious mountain hikes (I have Altbergs). Too soft for mountains.

2 pairs in 2 years

First pair the stitching gave way on the toe covering and eventually leaked after 11 months. Replaced and second pair doing the same after about 10 months of use.

Very comfortable but

Pro: VERY comfortable and still waterproof after 2 years.

Con: Boots get very shabby very quickly and the soles wear out far too fast. Best kept just for actual hill walking.

Scarpa boots

Look good, but after little wear they loose their shape and look shabby. Sole is very thin, you can feel stones through the sole. After 6 months they are still water proof. Not good value for money.

Uncomfortable!!!

These boots are the most uncomfortable boot Ive ever purchased. I actually think I will end up with permanently damaged feet.
The pain is under the feet behind the toes.
Vert very poor for the money.

Very comfortable

Had these for 3 years never been off my feet very comfortable and waterproof as described I would highly recommend them

Not waterproof

I have had these boots for a year now and find them very comfy, but they are not waterproof, I was out walking in them yesterday my feet were wet through

High Scarpa Quality

Very robust and comfy boots. I have slightly wide feet and they are generous enough. Good quality materials for hill and flat walks in mud and water.
3rd pair of Scapra boots, love the brand.

Good but not Waterproof (any more)

Very comfortable boot but after 2 summers they are no longer waterproof. Taken good care of but the Gore-tex has given up. I'd love another pair but very expensive if only good for a couple of years. I'll still wear them but only on dry walks.
