Waste of money !

Not fit for purpose ! Fell apart at the front seams after just 3 short walks !
So many people have reported the same outcome can’t believe their still selling them.

Fell apart within 2 months !

Lovely walking shoe , extremely comfortable but unfortunately fell apart within 2 months of occasional wear ! The stitching broke around the seam at the front allowing water to enter. They are just not fit for purpose and this appears to be a very common fault. I shall see if I am offered my money back but I don’t have much hope.

Comfortable, but seams fail

This review is after a year of regular winter use. I've found them comfortable, warm, with good grip for light trails.
Unfortunately, the stitched seams around the toe sections have split, allowing water to enter. Other reviewers have mentioned the same problem. I'm looking at having this fixed, as otherwise, these are good value.

Very poor

Had these shoes just over 12 months, from the very start they made my feet sweat, now they have completely fell apart ,with very little use.

Weak stitching. Not hard-wearing.

Stitching went quickly on both shoes.
The original firm support easily crumbled after 100 miles of walking on reasonable surfaces.
Padding underfoot inadequate after a few walks.
I'm don't remember having these problems with the Grizedale shoe, and I had 3 pairs in sucession.

Uncomfortable, limited arch support

I only wore these once for 10 minutes. The cushioning seems to be in the wrong place, rather than supporting the arch it was pushing up against the inside of the front of my foot, quite uncomfortable. Not had this with any other style.

Good comfortable and sturdy shoes.

Great for walking and waterproof too. Split seams appeared after 6 months in both shoes but with a generous and careful application of a quality superglue they were mended quickly and easily. My suggestion is to improve stitching in future as they are overall good affordable shoes.

Splitting seams

Thought these shoes good value and comfortable for someone with wide feet. Given them plenty of use in mixed conditions for dog walking, etc. However after just over a year the seams at the toe end have split so I feel not great design or construction.

Disappointing Walking Shoes

I had been delighted with the comfort and durability of the original style of this shoe and had happily bought a second pair. When these needed replacing I ordered a third pair which was the current revised style.
They have been extremely disappointing with poor waterproofing and the front seems bursting after a few months.
Current model not fit for serious walking even at sale price.

Broken Seams, minimal cushoning

Despite the description, these shoes are only made to walk from your house to the car and back. After less than 4 months the toe seams have split on both shoes. They weren't noticibly waterproof before, they definately aren't now. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a common issue. Be forewarned.

Substandard

I should have read the reviews on here before buying a pair of these in a sale for £34 - big bargain I thought! I have worn them relatively infrequently and for light use only - parks, about town, driving etc. Just five months after purchase, the side of the seam round the toecap on one shoe gave way, as others on here have experienced. I think this is basically a design flaw combined with substandard stitching/too light a thread. Shame, they were quite comfortable

Great purchase in Stroud store

Ordered a pair via the Stroud shop to replace much-loved and long-lived predecessors - very friendly, helpful service and an easy process. Not only are the shoes every bit as comfortable as expected, they were delivered at no cost within twenty four hours - can't complain at that!

Seams break

I previously left a positive review foe these shoes and brought a second pair for myself. Sorry to say that the second pair have not worn well. The sticthing on the seams is spliting long before the sole is worn out.

Poor product.

Within 5 months of use the seams on both shoes split after very limited use. Although l liked the design and comfort, the shoes became unusable very quickly.

These shoe are comfortable...

These shoe are comfortable from the word go, I would buy again.

seams split

Very comfortable and waterproof shoes let down by poor construction. 18 months if dog walking mostly on grass and the side seams at the front have split on both shoes, the soles have all but worn through on the heel and the rubber toe has peeled back. I won't be buying another pair.
