Good quality boot but not built for a broad foot.

I loved these when I got them some years ago. Comfy, waterproof and like the look of them, however, the soles have come unglued from the upper by the ball of the foot. I expected them to last longer as the rest of the build quality is good. They haven't had heavy mileage either.

Great shoe, looks good, comfortable, only niggle is the bronze badge on the lace needs repositioning to face outward which is a bit fiddly.

Perfect country and city walking shoes. They last for ever. I gifted my previous pair after 15 years hard tramping. Inevitable that this should be my second pair!

Comfy boots, ideal for long dog walks. Easy to clean.

Like all my previous leather walking shoes or boots, it took a while to break in but was never too uncomfortable. Now they fit nicely, look good enough to wear as everyday shoes but are good for an impromptu hike. They buff up nicely too. I'd been actively looking for a walking shoe that I could wear every day, but wasn't as ugly as previous buys. Unlike other reviews here, my soles are still untouched and have been waterproof too, though I haven't forded any streams in them. I was seriously considering buying another pair as they are on "offer", but it might be years before I need them.

Bought these in 2019 and only worn to walk the dogs such that they still look in new condition. However the shoes are leaking so useless in the wet. I'm amazed as they look so good otherwise. Bit late to send them back I guess

I wanted fairly lightweight boots for dog walking with a solid sole - previous ones with vibram moulded soles had worn through in months on the heel. These are great - still going strong after more than a year with much more wear left in them. Very comfortable once broken in.

Kown brand of quality walking shoes

I bought a pair of these last year, as I wanted some hiking shoes that also looked good. Sure enough, they do look nice, but as shoes they are completely useless. The soles wore down incredibly quickly, and I had to throw them away within 3 month as they were unwearable (the interior around the heel support also wore away in that time uncovering an uncomfortable bit of plastic). In the end, I think I only actually used them for one hike (I used my proper hiking boots for any longer walks), and managed to wear these out just by taking the dog for a couple of strolls a day. Flimsiest shoes ever.

Good quality but insoles could be better

Like all new shoes that I buy these hurt one of my feet at first because it has a bony bump on the top. Not the shoes' fault. The shoe on the other foot has been really lovely since I first put it on. A week later, after wearing them with two pairs of socks, the shoe on my bony-bump foot is well on its way to being really comfortable.
