Poor quality & poor value
Comfty & Seams Splits.
This walking shoes were comfortable for many years, but my 5th walking shoes' quailty gets worse with seams (toes area). Seams are splits within 2 months. Very disaapoint with quality control.

This is my second pair of Peter Storm Lindale walking shoes, they are extremely comfy, look very smart & wear really well (the first pair lasted over 3 years) when they do wear out I know what I will replace them with- another pair of Peter Storm Walking Shoes

Really comfortable walking shoe....
Really comfortable walking shoe. I found that i could walk in them from the start without needing to break them in with short distances.The width is very important to me personally on any footwear and these shoes are very good in that respect.

Feels of good construction.not...
Feels of good construction.not had a chance to test waterproofness. Merrells gprtex previously bought were rubbish for waterproof. So needed to find relia le paur .hope peter storm meet their claim.
Comfy but faulty
I found this shoe to be very comfortable straight out of the box however after less than a year the seams are splitting on both shoes, as other reviewers have also experienced. These aren't a cheap shoe and I've only leisurely walked in them which is why the fault is so disappointing and annoying. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't buy again.

Comfortable and well fitting shoe.
Unfortunately the seams have split on both shoes, so no longer waterproof.
Disappointing that the shoes have developed such a basic fault and are not durable.
Third purchase
These walking shoes are very good. There is an inherent weakness though in the stitching between the front and side of the shoe. In both of my previous purchases this is the area that fails first before anything else has worn out. Will buy again but manufacturers should strengthen the shoes in this area.

Black Friday Purchase
I purchased these shoes to replace some well worn Karrimor Solomon's. On the day they were delivered I took them for an 8 mile walk over mainly rough ground, wet grass and tarmac roads. They were absolutely superb, very comfortable and water tight, I am very pleased. For day to day shoes I wear mainly size 9 occasionally 9 1/2. For this type of walking shoes I prefer size 10 and this was the size I purchased. I would recommend you go slightly up on your normal size if you are contemplating a purchase.

Great fit, very comfortable and didn't have to break them in, very impressed with the quality for the price. I would recommend these shoes 100%. The leather outer gives them a really good look and the fact they are waterproof is brilliant.

Used shoes around the house to break in and they seemed OK, but on a good walk they became very tight at toes. I would have sent them back if I had not done a few miles in them. I bought a pair of Peter Storm Grizedale last year and they fit perfectly. My normal size is 10 for all my shoes. I could not recommend this shoe.

I have had Peter Storm Grizedale shoes before & they are very good. These are not. The toe seam split within a year during which I hadn't worn them much so I ended up using them as an indoor shoe. Bonkers!
