I have had 2 pairs of these boots.
The 1st lasted quite well on the sole side of things, the top of the boot where you create a crease when walking was split in 2 places within 4 months.
Having wide feet I have struggled and been in pain for many years. These boots really have that glove feel that I've never experienced. Only done a few miles in the Cotswolds, Scotland next.
A robust, waterproof and comfortable boot (this is the second set I have bought). The only disappointment is that the tongue's bellows are fabric rather than leather and so may wear through or lose their (Goretex) waterproof quality earlier than otherwise.
I had the equivalent of this boot when it was branded as Raichle - an absolute APC for feet. Lasted for years and years with unfailing water resistance on the Welsh highlands through all the extreme cold, wet and mud. These boots are a proper UK size 9 - felt too large until they bedded in, but now feel just right and super comfortable. The rubber band is a nice improvement. Highly recommend these for all those dog walks you wished you didn't have to do.
These are a superb pair of boots really comfortable and as with all Mammut kit top quality.
I always wear Mammut boots as I find them hard wearing very comfortable
Good comfort & good support , but only 6 month old & wet feet. I’ve had 3 pairs of the older model & no complaints. Must do better Mammut. You’ve just lost a good customer.
I have just the boots today deliver from go outdoors out of box and started to ware then i would recommend to get
You get what you pay for! I’ve had these for over 2 years now, never once had a complaint about comfort, moisture ingress or signs of damage to the boot! Used for the three peaks numerous times!
Purchased last year and after completing a hour walk I wasnt overly impressed with them as toward the end they became extremely uncomfy. however having since worn them in properly, they are excellent
I purchased this boot for winter hiking. Comfortable out of the box, and after using everyday for the last two months in constant very wet weather they have kept my feet totally dry.
Bought 7 days ago went for a 7 mile walk it was raining when I got home l had wet feet. When you pay over 200 pounds you expect more
Bought these boots 4 months ago and loved how comfy they were straight out the box.
However they take forever to dry out and they are already cracking around the toe joint area.
After 6 months the first pair needed replacing because the plastic seal around the edge of the sole had failed.
Second pair lasted 18months before the eyelets corroded and now out of warranty
