Disappointed
Very disappointing
After wearing these shoes for the last couple of months I am now getting very wet toes when out in wet grass. Very disappointing. Have had this problem but when they were much older.

So far I haven't...
So far I haven't experienced any issue with the shoes not being waterproof, as some reviews mention, but I haven't worn them in any extreme weather (although I have worn in the rain). I have already decided these wont be my main hiking shoe as I'm not convinced they would stand up to that. The sole feels a little bit hard, so will need to buy some insoles I think, but that could just be my dodgy feet! All in all, a good shoe, but they don't seem quite as good quality as previous North Face shoes I've had, but they seem to be generally good for the price.
Not Waterproof
My feet were saturated the first time I wore the shoes even though I asked for advice on buying shoes that would definitely keep my feet dry in wet weather. Very disappointed in their performance as I expected better from North Face.

Comfortable and sturdy all-round...
Comfortable and sturdy all-round trainers. I sized up to allow for a comfortable fit in thickish socks. I’ve only had one outing so far, 15 miles along a coastal path in dry conditions, and they were perfect for the job. (I’d wear sturdier boots for muddier, wetter conditions.)

Really good fit, comfortable shoes. True to size - no need to wear extra bulky socks.

Sought advice as wanted waterproof walking shoes. These shoes are not waterproof and my feet are constantly wet, takes 3 days for them to dry out. Expected much more from North Face.
