I have had numerous pairs of these waterproof walking shoes over several years and gone back to buy some new ones when needed. I purchased a pair last year, within a few days they had a defect around the upper part of the heal. I returned them and received a refund, fine manufacturing faults happen. I ordered another pair, they arrived and I noticed some subtle design differences, again no issue. I have found however the front / top fabric covering over the toes has torn ( albeit after a good 10 months ) but I have never experienced this previously. On other shoes the grip has worn off
