One of the most significant improvements to the Laser Compact 2 is the PFC-free breathable inner tent, making it more environmentally friendly while still providing adequate ventilation. The tent is also equipped with a factory silicone-sealed main seam, which ensures maximum waterproofing.
With a compact pack size of only 30cm, the Laser Compact 2 is designed to be positioned optimally within your backpack. The tent also features a handy webbing loop at the bottom of the flysheet door that can accommodate a trekking pole, allowing you to create a useful canopy for additional space.
The 20-denier flysheet fabric is designed to be lightweight, durable, and easy to pitch, and the tent can be set up quickly and easily as one. The low-profile design ensures a stable structure even in windy conditions where pegging out is a possibility, and the included Dyneema reflective guylines are three times stronger than standard guyropes, providing extra support on the mountainside.
The tent also features two vents at each end to help reduce condensation, and a FastPack option, allowing you to use the flysheet and groundsheet protector for an even lighter shelter.

decided to upgrade my old single tent and decided on this beauty based on weight and space. After a trial pitch it is straightforward and easy though separating the inner and outer prior to pitching requires practice to erect as inner only goes one way. Pegs are robust and sturdy with a couple of spare. The top of the peg can dig into the palm of the hand so beware. First night out it poured with rain and was v windy, stood the test really well. I separated the innner to avoid soaking from fly to carry in my pack.
