It boasts a moulded nylon arch shank for support and an embedded EVA midsole for torsional support as well as stability and cushioning underfoot.

Love these walking boots....
Love these walking boots. I have tried numerous walking boots and these are the most comfortable yet. They seem to have good waterproofing although I feel reluctant to take them on a cross country walk as I am not sure how they will look after they have got very muddy - they look more like a summer boot to me. I have trouble with an undiagnosed toe pain and have gone up 2 sizes but this has given me lots of room around my toes and so far I haven't had the pain. I'm yet to do any serious hiking in them but it is looking good as normally I get pain even doing a daily hour's dog walk.
Comfortable waterproof boot
A comfortable waterproof boot. With a contoured insole and air cushioned heel, it feels really nice to wear. It also looks really stylished. I am hoping the DRY system proves to be as waterproof as the helpful salesman said.

I have these. They are very comfortable but aren't waterproof at all. Even with dew grass on an early morning walk my feet get soaking.
