New model is disappointing
Great buy
Excellent first shoes for child. As comfortable as climbing shoes can be with the removable heel insert and Velcro fastening. Definitely recommend as a starter shoe.
Climb X Kinder climbing shoes - excellent product
Great climbing shoes. There is a removeable insert which adjusts the size by half a size, so loads of growing room. Easy velcro fastening so great for kids to put on themselves. Nice and secure when on and because they are velco, they fit a variety of width feet. A great shoe! This is our 2nd pair now and we would highly recommend them.
The previous version of these shoes which are still shown in the picture were excellent, looked nice, worked well and lasted a decent amount of time, my son and daughter both climb regularly so I've had quite a few pairs of them as they've grown and always recommended them to other parents, so had no hesitation to order another set, however, when I went to pick them up they were not the style pictured and were a new version.
They looked an odd thing in the box with orange rubber around the toes and a more basically styled closure but they did look better when worn and still performed well but my main problem is that they only lasted him two months before the new orange rubber wore all the way through the toes, this always happens eventually but the older version lasted a lot longer, so unfortunately I won't be buying or recommending them again.
